1. Tour Itinerary

Day 01 Arrival in Kunming
You will be met on your arrival at Kunming Airport and transferred to your hotel. Visit the Bamboo Monastery if time permits.

Bamboo Monastery: The first temple dedicated to Zen Buddhism in Yunnan. It dates back to the Song Dynasty (960-1279). The present structure mostly dates from the late Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). The temple's most outstanding artistic feature is the statues of the life-sized clay figures of 500 Arhats.
Day 02 Kunming - Dongchuan (Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner)
Drive to Dongchuan red soil land which takes 4 hours. Have lunch, then create great photos at LuoXiaGou Valley, Damakan Hill, Jingxiuyuan Hill, and so on. Stay tonight in Dongchuan.

Dongchuan Red Land: It is located 39 kilometers southwest of Kunming. The red lands extend for nearly 50 kilometers, and is high rated by photographers and backpackers. Dongchuan Red Land has been praised as "God's palette". After ploughing, the colors of the fieldsare stunning. Reds, oranges, and greens spotted throughout the mountain terraces.

Day 03 Dongchuan - Jiaozi Snow Mountain - Xincun Town (Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner)
Continue achieve great images of Dongchuan Red Soil Land. After lunch, we head off to Jiaozi Snow Mountain, trek to the top whre you will find beautiful flowers and trees. Drive back to Dongchuan and stay in Xincun Town.

Jiaozi Mountain: The mountain is located 150 kilometers (93 miles) from Kunming. At an altitude of 4,247 meters, its main peak is the highest in the central region of Yunnan. Apart from the grand waterfalls and charming lakes, the azalea flowers are colorful decorations of the mountain, usually in full blossom from April to June. Jiaozi Snow Mountain is an ideal place for winter tourism and winter sports.
Day 04 Dongchuan - Xinping (Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner)
Explore and shoot at the villages of ethnic Dulong and Yi People. Drive drive through some of the most picturesque countryside to Xinping. Visit Damuyu Huayao Dai Ethnic Culture and Ecology Tourism Village and the Gasa DaBingLangYuan Huayao Dai Ethnic Village. In Gasa Town, tour to Daika Dai village and Huayao Dai village at Damuyu County. In a plantation, you will see the traditional houses made of mud-bricks, and you will see Dai people weaving and dying hand-made cloth.
Day 05 Xinping (Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner)
Drive to the Ailao Mountain National Reserve, on the way, take photos of the Ailao Terraced Fields. Visit the Manor Of Longxi Clan, the Ancient Tea Horse Road and the Stone Gate Gorge and the virgin Forest, we will stop frequently along the way to grab great photo opportunities.

Ailao Mountain: Ailao Mountain Nature Reserve is situated in the north and middle parts of the Ailao Mountain Ranges, covering an area of 550 square kilometers and stretching 5 kilometers from east to west, 102 kilometers from north to south. It is established to conserve the ecosystem in the subtropical evergreen latifoliate forests and rare wild animals such as black gibbon, green peacock and others.
Day 06 Xinping - Jianshui (Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner)
Drive to Jianshui, explore the charming town that is full of Chinese ancient architecture. Visit city gate - Chaoyang Tower. Our best chances for photo opportunities will be at the Zhu's Family Garden, the Confucian Temple and the Shuanglong Bridge. In the evening, explore the old residential area and its unique ancient wells. Stay overnight at Zhu Family's Garden, the best hotel in Jianshui.
Day 07 Jianshui - Yuanyang (Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner)
Take an early morning trip to the Tuanshan Village and the Garden of Zhang Family. Drive to Yuanyang where you will have tons of great shooting opportunities. On the way, visit the Swallow Cave. Capture the fabulously sunset view of Laohuzui terraced fields.
Day 08 Yuanyang (Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner)
We have a dawn visit to the stunning terraced fields at Duoyishu Village. In the afternoon, visit Qingkou Ethnic Hani Village and rice terraces, then capture the beautiful scenery at Bada terraced fields and bustling Shengcun Market. Enjoy the sunset of terrace fields in Longshuba in the late afternoon.
Day 09 Yuanyang - Kunming (Breakfast + Lunch)
We are up again for another dawn photo shoot at Yuanyang, do a bit more landscape photography and portraiture, seizing on the opportunities all around us in these hills, then return to Kunming. Visit the Stone Forest on the way.

Stone Forest: Situated in Lunan County, it is an area of typical karst landform with numerous groups of strange gray-black stone peaks and stone pillars. The Stone Forest covers an area of 400 square kilometers, is about 85 kilometers away from Kunming and requires 1.5 hours' driving.
Day 10 Kunming - Departure (Breakfast)
Transfer to Airport/Railway station for onward journey.
