Day 01 |
Arrival In Kunming
Upon your arrival in the Kunming
airport or train station, our guide will pick you up and
transfer to your hotel. Visit the Bamboo Monastery if
time permits.
Bamboo
Monastery: The first temple dedicated to Zen Buddhism in Yunnan. It dates back to the Song Dynasty (960-1279). The present structure mostly dates from the late Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). The temple's most outstanding artistic feature is the statues of the life-sized clay figures of 500 Arhats. |

Day 02 |
Kunming - Jiuxiang -
Stone Forest (Breakfast
+ Lunch)
Tour to Jiuxiang Scenic Resort.
Drive to Stone Forest in the afternoon. Stay tonight in
Stone Forest Hotel.
Jiuxiang
Scenic Resort: In the scenic area, there are over
100 karst caves of different Sizes, and Jiuxiang is
confirmed to be the biggest cave clusters in China with
the greatest number of caves and most wonderful in-cave
scenic. The cave clusters are listed as one of the national-level
key scenic areas.

Day 03 |
Stone Forest - Kunming
(Breakfast
+ Lunch)
Visit the Stone Forest. Have lunch,
then return to Kunming.
Stone
Forest: Situated in Lunan County, it is an area of typical karst landform with numerous groups of strange gray-black stone peaks and stone pillars. The Stone Forest covers an area of 400 square kilometers, is about 85 kilometers away from Kunming and requires 1.5 hours' driving.

Departure From Kunming

Tour to the Dragon Gate in Western
Hills. Have lunch, then visit the Bird & Flower market.
Transfer to the airport for your departure, end of service.
Western
Hills: The forest reserve on the west bank of the
Dianchi
Lake consists of the Huating and Taihan mountains.
This is a colossal natural forest reserve in the midst
of a lofty mountain range crisscrossed by babbling brooks
and gurgling streams. Ancient trees are adorned with
thick, lush foliage and birds chirp and flutter in the
green treetops. Near the top of the mountain, is the
Dragon Gate. Hacked from the cliff between 1781 and
1835 by a Taoist monk and co-workers, the Dragon Gate
is a group of grottoes, sculptures, corridors and pavilions. |

The hotel is based on two persons
sharing one twin or double standard room with private
facilities.

at the hotel, Chinese lunch or dinner in local Chinese
restaurant as specified in the itinerary.

or railway station and hotel and all the sights by
air-conditioned vehicle.

The economic class air tickets
of the domestic flight or soft berth/seat train tickets
between cities as specified in the itinerary.

6. Guiding service
Excellent tour Guiding. All
normal sightseeing tours in each city with English-speaking
guide and admission fees where applicable. Our guide
will not fly with you from one city to another. Upon
your arrival at each city, a new local guide and driver
will pick you up, be with you for local tour and see
you off after you finish the itinerary of each city.
7. Insurance

What is single

The hotel is based on double occupancy. If the visitor
travels alone or the number of the travelers is odd
(such as 3, 5, 7...), who stays in one single room
has to pay the single room supplement. As the hotel
is on double occupancy.
