Upon your arrival, our guide will
pick you up at the airport and transfer to your hotel.
Visit the Bamboo Monastery.
Monastery: The first temple dedicated to Zen Buddhism in Yunnan. It dates back to the Song Dynasty (960-1279). The present structure mostly dates from the late Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). The temple's most outstanding artistic feature is the statues of the life-sized clay figures of 500 Arhats.
- Jianshui (Breakfast
Depart Kunming and travel to Jianshui.
Visit city gate - Chaoyang Tower. Tour to the Zhu's Family
Garden, the Confucian Temple and the Shuanglong Bridge.
In the evening, explore the old residential area and its
unique ancient wells. Stay overnight at Zhu Family's Garden,
the best hotel in Jianshui.
- Yuanyang (Breakfast
Early in the morning, drive 117KM/3
hrs along bumpy mountain road to Yuanyang. Visit to Qingkou
Hani Ethnic Village. Go on climbing to Tiger Mouth Pass
overlooking an extensive view of terraces. Stay overnight
at Yunti Hotel (3-star), Yuanyang.
Enjoy a spectacular view from scenic
mountain terraces at Duoyishu Village. visit terraced-fields
at Bada and Shengcun Village. In the afternoon, sightsee
the Terrace Fields in Longshuba. Stay overnight at Yunti
Hotel (3-star), Yuanyang.
Yuanyang - Kunming (Breakfast
Depart Yuanyang and return to
Kunming. Tour to the Dragon Gate in Western Hills, then
visit Bird and Flower market. Transfer to the airport
for your departure, end of service.
Hills: The forest reserve on the west bank of the
Lake consists of the Huating and Taihan mountains.
This is a colossal natural forest reserve in the midst
of a lofty mountain range crisscrossed by babbling brooks
and gurgling streams. Ancient trees are adorned with
thick, lush foliage and birds chirp and flutter in the
green treetops. Near the top of the mountain, is the
Dragon Gate. Hacked from the cliff between 1781 and
1835 by a Taoist monk and co-workers, the Dragon Gate
is a group of grottoes, sculptures, corridors and pavilions.
